Yes — in Countdown Watering (up to 4 hours) or Quantitative Watering mode, the valve closes itself automatically once the set time or volume is reached; no manual step is needed. You can also stop a cycle early anytime from the app or by hand at the valve — unless the child lock is on, in which case pressing the valve switch three times quickly while it's open still closes it.
Q7: What happens if my WiFi connection drops, and what else should I know before buying?
If WiFi disconnects, you'll lose remote control and irrigation logging from the app, but the physical switch on the valve still works by hand at any time. A couple of other things worth knowing: quantitative watering only displays in the app once the flow meter setting is turned on, and depending on your faucet type, you may need to source an additional connector separately, since only the standard 3/4" adapters are included in the box.
