Know what your water is doing — and shut it off from anywhere
- Monitor soil moisture and temperature via app: check the current soil moisture and soil temperature conveniently in the Smart Life app. The WiFi plant sensor helps you better assess the right time to water and avoid overwatering or too dry soil.
- Individual warnings for each plant: set upper and lower limits for soil moisture and temperature. The app informs you when the soil is too dry or too humid, the temperature is outside the selected range or the battery level is low.
- View History & Export Data: Track humidity and temperature readings by day, month or year. The saved data can be exported by email, allowing you to more easily track changes after watering or during extended absences.
- Flexible settings in the Smart Life app: adjust humidity range, temperature range, sensitivity and measurement interval to suit your plants. The measurement interval can be adjusted from 1 to 30 minutes, and can also be changed between °C and °F.
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi without separate hub: the sensor connects directly to a 2.4GHz WiFi, no additional Zigbee hub is required. Bluetooth supports the setup. The IP66 protected housing and two replaceable AA batteries are suitable for everyday use in damp planting environments.

Q1: How do I install the WiFi Smart Soil Sensor?
Insert the probe fully into a representative outdoor soil location. Keep the probe away from stones, container bottoms, and container edges. For dense lawns, clear grass around the probe first so it can contact the soil properly.
Q2: Does this sensor work with Smart Life?
Yes. It connects to the Smart Life app through 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It does not require a hub. Smart Life scenes require a compatible executing device; compatibility with every Tuya or Smart Life device is not confirmed.
Q3: What does the sensor measure?
It monitors soil moisture, surface soil temperature, and conductivity at its installed point. Temperature detection range is -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F), and conductivity range is up to 20 ms/cm. Conductivity is an additional reading and is not a professional soil diagnosis.
Q4: Can one sensor monitor my whole lawn or garden?
No. The 6 cm probe provides a local reading around its installation point, and the supplied material does not state a coverage area. Areas with noticeably different sun, soil, or irrigation conditions may need separate monitoring points.
Q5: What happens if Wi-Fi disconnects?
